iPhone help?

Okay.. So I live in Australia.
And I brought an unlocked iPhone from Hong Kong a few months ago. It came with an AT&T simcard which obviously didnt work for me but the phone accepted my optus prepaid sim card fine and everything worked.
Last week I downloaded the 2.0 firmware and it came up with that I needed to insert a valid sim to continue.
It wasn’t accepting my optus simcard anymore and when I put the AT&T card in, I don’t even know the phone number to register it.
So basically my iPhone has re-locked itself.

So my question is:
Can I unlock it again myself?
Or is there a way to un-install and go back to 1.1.4??

Either way you have to unlock it again sorry

even if you go back to the 1.1.4… but as far as I know you will have to go online and find an unlocking service it is really easy but not FREE no matter what anyone says…

this will probably cost you between $30 and $50 dollars… I would contact y our supplier as it may have the ability to unlock it for you cheaply

The Mobile World Congress 2009 will take place in Barcelona next week (Feb 16-19), under the big cloud of uncertainty that the current economic downturn presents to the mobile industry. Reports are saying that the event organizers expect a 15% decline in the number of visitors, compared to the 54,000 who visited in 2008. Many mobile companies are also reducing their presence in the event, in light of the shrinking marketing budgets. 

Perhaps another sign of the times is the number of high profile keynote speakers, as if to show that the mobile giants are doing their best to push business forward.  A few names on the speaker-list are:

• Steve Ballmer, Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft Corporation
• Cesar Alierta, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Telefonica
• Vittorio Colao, Chief Executive, Vodafone

And the list goes on. 

The budget shrinkage also impacted the Israeli delegation to GSMA, which has been reduced from 60 to 46 companies this year. That said, we have to remain optimistic and remember that the most advanced technology innovations come from new entrants, not from the incumbents.
